Terms and Conditions for Strauss Motors

Welcome to Strauss Motors („we,“ „our,“ or „us“). By using our car rental services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before proceeding with your rental.
1. Eligibility Requirements
To rent a vehicle from Strauss Motors, you must meet the following conditions:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Have a major credit card in your name for payment and deposit.
- Provide proof of an active rideshare account (Uber, Lyft, etc.) or employment with a regular 9-to-5 job.
2. Rental Terms
a. Vehicle Use: Renters must comply with all local, state, and federal laws. Vehicles are to be used only for lawful purposes and must not be used for racing, towing, off-road activities, or illegal actions.
b. Rental Period: The rental period starts at the time of vehicle pickup and ends at the agreed return time. Late returns may result in additional charges.
c. Deposit:
- Rideshare Clients: A $200 security deposit is required, along with upfront payment for two days.
- Workforce Clients: A $300 security deposit is required, also with upfront payment for two days.
3. Rates and Payment Terms
a. Rental Rates: Rates vary by vehicle type and rental duration. Taxes and additional fees apply.
b. Payment Terms: Payment is due in full at the time of rental. We only accept major credit cards (no cash payments).
c. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation time may incur a cancellation fee.
4. Insurance and Liability
a. Insurance: We provide insurance coverage for all rental vehicles. Renters are responsible for any deductible or damage not covered by the insurance policy.
b. Liability: Strauss Motors is not liable for personal injuries, property damage, or other losses incurred during the rental period.
5. Vehicle Condition and Maintenance
a. Inspection: Renters are required to inspect the vehicle before pickup and report any pre-existing damage.
b. Return Condition: Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as rented, free of excessive dirt, trash, or damage. Additional cleaning fees may apply for dirty vehicles.
c. Fuel Policy: Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. Refueling fees may apply for insufficient fuel.
6. Prohibited Activities
Renters must not:
- Allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle.
- Use the vehicle for illegal purposes (racing, reckless driving, or transporting illegal substances).
- Smoke in the vehicle (a cleaning fee will be applied for violations).
- Exceed the mileage limit specified in the rental agreement (additional charges may apply for excess mileage).

8. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions
Strauss Motors reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels. Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of any revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, where Strauss Motors is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
